Oil Shortage!

What's all this I hear about us going into an oil shortage? I also hear about the prices of the everyday things taht we buy can also rise. That also tells me how dependend on oil we are, we depend so much on it that we need it for everthing else that we buy at the store. Now the demand of oils is on the rise and there is going to be a limited supply of it available for everyone. But how bad can it really get? I hope I don't get to see how things will get.

It's Finally Over!!!!!!!

Wow, now that this long oil crisis is finally over, we can be in peace knowing that our oil and our other products will be at a price that is reasonable. Even though our oil crisis is over we can't let this happen again because we will go crazy and panic once again because of the fact that we never repare for these types of crisis. The way that we need can prevent this from happening again is advising food producers from bringing their supplies from places far away.

Myself is included in this, I can reduce my carbon footprint by depending less on oil to get around the area where I live. I will do this as much as I can to avoid falling into habits that will lead me to use oil irresponsibly.

where's the Freshness at????

Lately I've noticed that it has been hard for my mom to find fresh produce, veggies, and fruits when she goes to the supermarket. I've also noticed that she has been paying more when she actually finds the fresh produce, fruits, and veggies. We have never been to a farmer's market even though a farmer's market sets up close to our home but we have never once shopped for fresh foods there.
Who know's maybe next time the farmer's market sets up we will stop by. Maybe we won't even drive there, we'll just walk because of this oil shortage that keeps our fresh foods away from our local market.

Supply and Demand

Many times we just go out and buy stuff without realising that there area two things behind how we get things we buy. These two factors are Supply and Demand. Demand is the how the consumers are able and willing to buy a certain product and at what price, while in the other hand, Supply is the ammount that a producer is able and willing to sell their products. This is and has always been the affecting factor to the things we buy.

life without guitar strings

We are currently in an oil crisis and we are all having a hard time with the effects that it has on everything that we buy.
For example, me, I play the guitar and my strings wear out so I have to go out and buy some from Guitar Center. Guitar Center has its main wearhouse in Kansas, so everything the stock in their stores comes from Kansas. Now that oil prices are up, the prices of the guitar strings that I buy will go up because the cost of trasnportation will go up becase of the increase in oil prices.
